Our Story

HMU started with a simple frustration: dating apps felt like job interviews, and making friends as an adult was weirdly hard.

We wondered—what if meeting people online could feel more like bumping into someone at a party? Quick, spontaneous, and actually fun?

So we built HMU. A place where you can drop in, chat with someone new for 2 minutes, and decide together if you want to keep talking. No pressure, no endless swiping, just real conversations.
